All of our vacancies are advertised through NHS Jobs, which is a dedicated online recruitment service for the NHS and helps us to ensure we are consistent and fair to all of our candidates.
Everyone who wishes to apply for a vacancy will need to register on NHS Jobs first, which is a simple process, and once it’s done you can quickly search and apply for jobs online. You can also set up email alerts so you are notified of any jobs you may be interested in.
Once you’ve found a position you’re interested in you can complete an application online. After you’ve submitted your first application you can save these details for your next application and you can re-use the same basic information for other positions.
Some tips on applying for vacancies:
- Remember to tailor your application to the vacancy – read the job description and person specification fully and make it very clear to the Recruiting Manager why your education, experience and personal qualities are relevant to the job you have applied for and how you meet the essential and desirable characteristics listed.
- Complete the application form as fully as possible, with as much detail as possible, providing as much relevant additional information as you can. This may make your application stand out from everyone else.
